Biometric technology has emerged as the
most integral part of corporate security and personal
verification. Specifically, biometrics is the term used
to describe automated methods of recognizing a person
based on facial recognition, fingerprints, hand geometry,
iris scanning, and voice recognition. As a result of our
R&D projects with the federal government, SkyLink
Systems has become a leader in the integration of biometric
technology and building systems to identify people and
eliminate threats. Below is a short list of current applications,
special projects, and exclusive partnerships:
- A keyless entry system, utilizing a fingerprint technology
in a central repository, for employee or subcontractor
verification. Utilizing this application would not only
provide employee verification for secured locations,
it can also be used by landlords and real estate developers
to build a database of subcontractors that work at multiple
locations. In this scenario, SkyLink would use the fingerprints
to build a central repository and each employee and
subcontractor would have access to predetermined locations
only.
- SkyLink Systems is currently building an
aviation security system for commercial aircraft and
airports to recognize criminals and potential terrorists.
In this application, a database of certain people would
be developed in cooperation with the FBI and INTERPOL
to identify any individual that would be considered
dangerous. Using an almost infinite amount of camera
combinations, our system can identify people standing
still, in motion, in a large group, or even attending
a sporting event.
SkyLink Systems is committed to providing our clients
the most advanced forms of biometric technology, in conjunction
with, a customized security solution for your company.
Our goal is to secure all facilities and create a safe
environment for your employees and customers. |
